    Your trip starts from Hiroshima, which is easily accessed by train or flight from all major cities in Japan. Your luxurious modern room on the island features the views of the five-story pagoda and Senjokaku of Itsukushima Shrine. At sunset, enjoy fantastic views of stone lanterns lighting up the ocean.

    On day 2 you'll cycle the world-famous Shimanami Kaido route from Onomichi to Imabari (70km), fully supported by an English coordinator and a private car. Ride along the world's longest series of suspension bridges, across six islands and take in the scenic natural beauty. There are no large inclines and the entire route can be comfortably completed in a day by intermediate cyclists.

    On conclusion of the cycling journey, you'll be transferred to a secluded hot spring retreat, where you can soak in the hot spring bath and enjoy traditional kaiseki dishes utilising the rich seasonal ingredients of Setouchi.
