    Luggage Forwarding

    Baggage handling is not included in the tour cost, but Japan has a fabulous luggage forwarding service which you can use to send your luggage to your next destination. It will take between 24 and 72 hours to get the luggage to the next point so we recommend preparing an overnight bag when using this service. Luggage can be sent between any two points in Japan and the bell desks or receptions at your hotel will be happy to assist you with arranging this luggage transfer. We can assist you to arrange luggage transfers. The 3 day luggage transfer cost is approx. 4500 - 9000 yen (AUD 60 - 115) depending on the size and the weight of the luggage.

    Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, rising to 3,776m. The beautiful cone-shaped mountain is located west of Tokyo, surrounded by lakes in a national park and has long been revered by Japanese people for its historical and spiritual significance. This compact itinerary is the ideal introduction to a fascinating region, rich in cultural heritage. The journey begins at the largest of the five lakes, Lake Yamanakako before climbing Mount Fuji’s northern slopes on the Fuji Subaru Line. Admire spectacular views of the Fuji Five Lakes below before descending once more and exploring the remaining Lakes: Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Shojiko and Motosuko.

    You can choose to stay at Fuji View Hotel (4 Star) or Konansou Ryokan (5 Star).

This charming Ryokan takes in panoramic views of the snow-topped peak of Mount Fuji and offers Japanese and Western style guest rooms with its own private open-air hot spring baths and ensuites. Here, enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine and regional specialities.

    This tour package includes one nights' accommodation at Konansou Ryokan (or Fuji View Hotel), meals as mentioned in the itinerary, two days of guided cycling and walking, daily hotel pickup and drop off as well as transfers from and to Kawaguchiko Station at the beginning and end of your trip.
