Approx. 12 km for Mount Rosea Loop walking, moderate to hard graded. Elevation: 1033m. Optional Walk: Mount Rosea and Sundial Peak Lopp Walk 16.5 km
After a hearty breakfast, start a challenging ascent to the rugged peak of Mount Rosea (1033m). While the climb is challenging the path is well formed and shaded.

You will enjoy the rhythm of today's walk before topping out at the summit of Mount Rosea. Start an ascent through tall Messmate forest, marvel through a maze of sandstone outcrops, cross a bridge over the Gate of the East Wind. Continue the climb up windswept terraces until you finally reach the summit of Mt Rosea, where it offers amazing 360-degree views over the Serra and Mt William Ranges. This makes a superb spot for lunch and time to enjoy your reward for your morning's efforts.
For more of a challenge, you can continue your walk to the Sundial Peak where you are able to rest and soak up another stunning view. Then you will be transferred back to your luxury accommodation for some well-earned respite.

You will be transferred to Dunkeld. Tonight you will stay at Royal Mail Hotel. Your Deluxe Mountain View room is set within landscaped Australian gardens and offers stunning views of the Grampians peaks, from the balcony of your room or from bed with floor to ceiling windows.

Led by Royal Mail Hotel's sommelier, you will enjoy a wine cellar tour and a comparative wine tasting among the hotel's 28,000 bottle collection. It’s the largest privately owned collection of bordeaux and burgundy in the southern hemisphere, assembled over 40 years by hotel owner Allan Myers, QC, of the Dunkeld Pastoral Company.

Your final night's dinner is a five-course degustation prepared with fresh produce from the hotel's 1.2-hectare kitchen garden, at famous Wickens at Royal Mail Hotel.
