    The second section of this challenging track has just been opened by Parks Victoria so be among the first to enjoy this newly launched section of the trail.

    Other than traveling to the Grampians from Melbourne (3.5 hours drive), there are no major distances to travel each day so the focus of this trip is very much based around walking and enjoying the spectacular surrounds.

Be challenged and rewarded over seven days of walking along The Grampians Peaks Trail, a world class walk that showcases the majesty of the Grampians National Park.

    The only true way to explore the Grampians' spectacular natural beauty is on foot. By stepping out and walking you will have an intimate and unforgettable experience of dramatic peaks, panoramic views and the majesty of this ancient and rugged landscape.

    Hundreds of cliffs and rugged valleys provide refuge for many native animals. The sandy soil is ideal for native plants, making the Grampians National Park famous for its spring wildflowers. Numerous beautiful streams, waterfalls and caves are scattered through the ranges.

    The Grampians is also one of the best places in Australia to see large numbers of kangaroos, emus, deer, wallabies and birds in the wild. You will also learn about the culture and food of the indigenous people who have been here 20,000 years.

    This is a small group guided walking adventure, ex Melbourne. Two field guides will look after you and offer a choice of easier and harder walks along the way.
