    This is an escape for those who want to leave the world behind. Imagine walking through bushland, so quiet you only hear the sounds of nature. Imagine walking sandy beaches where barely a soul has passed that day.

    Reconnect with nature before returning to your luxury accommodation, Lush Pastures, in peaceful country surroundings. For abirds eye view of beautiful beaches, coastlines and magnificent vineyards and wineries, take a scenic helicopter flight (extra charges apply).

    Your first day walk is through Deep Creek Conservation Park, a true Australian bush experience. The park is a protected area and has the largest area of natural vegetation and wildlife habitat on the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is home to Western Grey Kangaroos, Short Beaked Echidnas, and Southern Emu–wrens, plus another 100 bird species.

    The second day walk takes in the spectacular coastline near Victor Harbor. There are spectacular views of the ocean from rugged cliffs, and walks along sandy beaches.

    This walking tour is fully guided with only 4 to 6 people in a group.

    Close to Victor Harbor the ‘Fleurieu Peninsula Coastal Walk & Whale Watching’ offers spectacular coastline views and an opportunity to experience coastal plants and wildlife.

    Along the walking track you may have the rare opportunity to see Southern Right Whales that come to breed in the sheltered waters between June and September.

    The Fleurieu Peninsula is one of the most accessible whale watching regions. The Southern Right Whale appears along the coastline between May and September migrating to the warm waters of the south coast to mate and calve.

    Walk the whale watchers’ way, and be prepared for Southern Right Whales gracing the ocean in front of you.
